• I get to visit with my other sis who lives out of state
• We go out for ice cream
• All the Christmas gifts are wrapped and ready

It's amazing how busy life suddenly gets...   (maybe I'm trying to do too much)
I'm trying to keep up with my 30 days of lists and create one list a night but...
there's always something else that needs to get done.

Tuesday night I made cookies so I could bring them to the knitting cocoa and cookies party Friday night.
Tonight, my sister and niece drove into town so visiting with them takes precedence over everything! :)
Tomorrow night we will all go to my daughter's to visit and play with my 6 month old grandson.
Friday night is the cocoa and cookies knitting party.
Saturday night I'm babysitting so my daughter can go to her work holiday party.

I obviously work during the day or I wouldn't have this struggle of time to get my list printed and my book page decorated.

This is something I'm really enjoying, I'm looking forward to sitting with glue and glitter and cutouts to sparkle up my book list a bit more.  Maybe Sunday.....

I've finished my list for tonight, but won't get it loaded into my list book - looks like it'll be awhile for that .. poo

     Making a necklace for a friend who really liked the one I was wearing.
     Taking on extra duties at work for a team mate who was feeling overwhelmed.
     Knitting a hat for my neighbor's mother who lost her hair to chemo.

My favorite outfits are mostly all about comfort.
Soft and warm in the winter, light weight and cool in the summer and most definitely I go casual as often as I can.

I make jewelry so I wear it with casual and dressy outfits, it's all fun to wear.

12/7/13 - List #7 - What I'm going to remember about today

Putting up Christmas fairy lights in my new kitchen.  Feels like I’m so behind in Christmas decorating – it’s already 12/7 and I only have a string of lights up.

Hanging a picture that I painted with my daughter.  Used 3M hanging strips and hung it in the kitchen, hope it stays up!

Finished knitting a purple and white hat for myself.  I usually don’t keep anything I knit, but this one is for me .

List #4 - I am happy to report

I am happy to report...

1. My new kitchen floor will be installed tomorrow (it was actually installed today - I wrote my list late last night
2. I finished knitting my daughters fingerless mitts 
3. I enjoy filling in my 30 days of lists book
4. We decided to cut our own tree this year
5. We started decorating the house for the holidays (Thanksgiving was so late in November, Christmas is only 3 weeks away!

List #3  - This is the only time of year....

• I make my lists of reading challenges  ( I pick 3 or 4 challenges and try to pick out the books for each challenge)
• I shop for Christmas gifts ( I can't shop early - I've tried )
• I have the Christmas tree set up ( we put it up in December and take it down right after the 1st -- no lingering trees )
• We cook a turkey ( it would be easy to cook any other time of year, but I only cook them during the holidays )

12/2/13 - List #2: Around My Home

It's not your imagination, this IS a different book than the one List #1 was in yesterday.

This new book was sitting on my shelf because just like good china, I've been afraid to use it.  It's a blank page book that was hand made just for me.

I haven't decided on how to decorate each daily list,  I'll work on that tonight.
For sure, this book will be much more fun to use and will require a lot more creativity from me.
